Had some fun with the MovieMaker wotsit this time. Fans of the Drumstick of Glory (come on, there’s at least one of you) will be disappointed as I have opted for a hooded assistant as the random selection device this time.

So congratulations to our six winners. I will have a look through at your comments to see which prize you preferred and you will be emailed shortly. If two or more winners have chosen the same item, then the first name out will get the chosen prize and the others will have to make do with one of the others.

Now watch the draw below and be utterly befuddled by the magic felt-tip pens of Theo…

The Quick Draw Draw

President Barack is meant to be in the title credits at the end, by the way.

The emails I sent to winners Jamie Duncan-Brown and President Barack have come back as failed deliveries. You two need to get in touch with the blog@everyonedoesit.com address.

  • I have to say I laughed my ass off with the beginning : P
I have to say though, I was one of those that is a fan of the Drumstick of Glory, quite disappointed it didn’t have an appearance!

Anyways, congrats to the winners, hope you all enjoy your new glass 🙂

  • How can you “come close to winning” in a raffle? It’s either a hit or miss. It’s not like a real raffle either, it’s FREE to enter, so you lose absolutely nothing with a whole lot to gain. So to everybody who hasn’t won(which includes myself), take a chill pill and just keep entering 🙂

  • Nick

    Congrats to the winners

You guys should use the bucket method for all future draws, mixes them up a lot better than the beaker and drumstick 🙂

  • Stan

    Congrats guys : )

Maybe you should do a comp next time EDIT? Been quite a few draws.

Maybeh joke comp, story comp ettttttttttttttttttttttc!

i wasn’t referring to just this one raffle, Theo. Im sure you know better than anyone that theres been other giveaways where you have a better shot of winning. for example the rasta roor giveaway. Don’t take things too literal next time. and also you can keep your chill pills since i don’t need them. i said congrats and im actually in a good mood. 🙂

I may bung up a morning-only giveaway tomorrow, with Stan’s suggestion of only entering a set amount of first-repliers. We’ll see how it goes.

All suggestions are welcome with regards these giveaways. On the old forum it was easy as there was constant interaction and feedback. This all pretty new with regards making the videos, so hopefully they will get better.

What I really need to do is find a way of speeding up the preparation process. Cutting out 800 names like I nearly did for the recent Roor comp (and I will probably do for the similar Roor comp coming next week) would take up half my day, which would be good if it was the only thing I did. Unfortunately making silly videos is not the only thing in my job description.

I could easily find random ways of genuinely selecting winners, but then how do I get it across to you lot so you know it hasn’t been fixed?

Like I said, suggestions welcome. Invited. Encouraged. Demanded.

  • Easy, we don’t know it hasn’t been fixed, we’ll just have to trust you. So that’ll be my time to bribe you >:)

How early in the morning are you talking about? I need to make sure I’m up since the time difference is a pain in the ass. Luckily though my work is on my computer and that’s why I’m always here 🙂

  • Also, forgot to say(I hate this not being a forum and not able to edit posts and whatnot), I’m willing to help since most of the time I’m just sitting here bored and procrastinating if there is anything I can do from across the pond. It’ll keep me entertained.

  • I hope you know 12hours from that post is going to be about 9am your time meaning 5am my time. I hate you : P

So now the question is, should I wake up in time or just blow this one off…hmm….(and if you couldn’t tell, once again I’m incredibly bored at work).
